Hi,

I’m David Crosby,

In the course of training and handling dogs for a living I had the humbling privilege of occasionally helping to save some lives, and more often, contributing to an improved quality of life for humans and dogs.

Climb

a Ladder

This dog has had an FHO meaning the head of her left femur has been surgically removed. The operation was not done skillfully, prior to rehabilitation this dog had great difficulty walking, and one rear leg is shorter than the other. After rehab she delighted in being the fastest dog in the dog park.

It takes a certain amount of training for a dog to learn how to climb ladders, a dog with an impairment, more so.

After very little training she climbed this ladder with no difficulty just because I asked her to.

Because of the quality of relationship, she is motivated.
